As I had previously had the walls in the main areas painted with a subtle, gray eggshell (with a slight undertone of blue), I wanted to pick a fabulous rug that would say, “blue” yet pull together many of the warm tones that were “hardscapes” in the house. The rug from one of my favorite rug companies, Loloi rug is the one I selected (in a 12′ x 14′).
